Every startup should have a business plan.  Business plans layout the basis for which everything else builds upon.  The thing is… at this stage it’s just me.  I’m not trying to find funding in any sort of traditional way here.  Granted I would like to have funding.  I would also be interested in taking on a partner or two.  But now I’m getting ahead of myself.  No matter what format the plan takes their is no escaping that the goals need to be communicated.  Writing them down gives you a reference point.  A guide to help you throw out the distractions so the core model can be achieved.

Over the next few posts I will be laying out this plan in greater detail.  This will serve as my written business plan.  I won’t be hitting every element that a standard business plan is supposed to have.  The financial data and supporting documents really won’t be needed because of the way I will be setting all of this up.   The business section will be covered, after all, this is a business.
