Birth Of An Idea
They say “Do what you love”. In my day job I don’t get to do that. I have a passion for technology and although my day job is a technology job, I am about as far away from “love” with my employer as you can get.
That has led me to pursue something that I do love. Combining two passions into one endeavor. The passion for technology and the passion for poker. The idea for this new venture has been on my mind for some time and after working it through It’s time to start the process.
This will be a poker software and hardware review site titled PokerTechReviews.com. The site will provide reviews and ratings of online poker add-on’s, tools, and the online site’s software. It will also include reviews of the hardware players use to compete online. This will include monitors, computer hardware, chairs, and even desks. Eventually I plan on expanding to the technology behind brick and mortar casinos featuring computerized tables, RFID chips, and whatever else the future holds. Software reviews will be the primary focus on launch but I do plan to expand as quickly as possible into the hardware reviews.
This blog will serve as a log for the entire process. Revealing everything possible along the way and providing a place for feedback and help from others. My first few posts will focus on how I plan to accomplish this new venture as well as look at what’s been accomplished so far.
So come along ‘cause this could be a wild ride.
